Marky Mark!

Marky Mark, known nowadays as Mark Wahlberg - the now famous and talented actor of hits such as the new Planet of the Apes, Rock Star and The Truth About Charlie was once a 'rapper' in the early 1990's.

People of the generation may remember 'New Kids on the Block', a boy band that Mark was involved with for a short time before landing himself some jailtime, while Mark was in prison his older brother Donnie (Also an actor, Bruce Willis' killer in The Sixth Sense, cop in Saw2) was hitting the big time music wise and managed to set Mark up with a recording contract. Despite Mark's poor vocals, he managed to record one of the most popular singles of 1992, "Good Vibrations". This song samples the same track by Loleatta Holloway as Black Box's "Ride on Time" which you can find if you scroll down a bit.

So, here it is, the oddly homo-erotic "Good Vibrations" (Not associated with the 1966 classic)

90's Doof of the Week

I'm sure we all remember Dannii Minogue, from her 2002 smash hit "Put the Needle on it". But you may not be aware that she was even more tacky in the 90's! As featured on last week's show, it's the video to Dannii's "All I wanna do", which shows a classy sophisticated take on the Internet and computers from a 90's perspective.
